11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Presented By
Herb Foedisch, CFP®, CLU®, Wealth Management Advisor
of Northwestern Mutual
PRESENTATION:
Life insurance is the ultimate hedge for lifestyle, portfolio and legacy risk. Perhaps we should have a better sense for how it really works. This presentation will help you understand various product designs, their intended uses and how they are performing in the current financial environment.
Herb will use case studies to illustrate successful product designs and outcomes, as well as those that have created significant tax problems for clients without achieving the desired benefit. This session is intended to broaden your knowledge of this important financial product so you can better address your client’s needs and evaluate their existing plans.
Life insurance is a financial tool and understanding the assumptions used to price coverage and the costs that influence performance will help when evaluating client policies. Coverage can be arranged in a myriad of ways to minimize taxes, cover financial obligations or fund charitable intentions. Herb will look at some of the more creative arrangements and discuss how they could benefit your clients’ financial goals.
