The ideal candidate is one who has worked in a tax, insurance or investment firm who can provide technical support to the Senior Financial Planner. You will work directly with the firm’s owner to prepare financial plans using customized Excel-based spreadsheets and NaviPlan financial planning software. Thorough knowledge of Excel is required to prepare cash flow projections and assist in rebalancing client investment portfolios. You must be comfortable with data entry, analysis, and interpretation of data. Many of your analytical and research-oriented projects require your conclusions to be documented in client letters and internal memos, and as such your writing skills must be impeccable.

Since you will be dealing with financial documents, exceptional attention to detail and discretion is required.  Our relationships with our clients and business partners are the heart of our business. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze client financial data and input into financial planning software programs
  • Prepare and analyze client balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Rebalance client portfolios using in-house models and spreadsheets, based on circumstances such as new cash under management and withdrawals
  • Draft client correspondence and newsletter content
  • Write summaries of financial recommendations
  • Organize projects of varying priorities
  • Research various planning and client-specific issues, and clearly communicate conclusions in written memos or letters
  • Communicate with clients and outside professionals
  • Research and analyze mutual funds and stocks

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
