TERMS OF USE: The Financial Planning Association of San Francisco (FPASF) is a non-profit California Corporation affiliated with the Financial Planning Association of Denver, Colorado (FPA). Use of this website is conditional. The FPASF website is for professional use and informational purposes only. Do not rely on it for investment advice. Opinions expressed are solely those of the members and speakers and do not represent the views of the FPA or FPASF.

PAYMENT FOR MEETINGS: In most incidences, there is a higher meeting charge if payment is received after the specified cutoff date for the advanced pricing discount. In addition, current members of the FPA receive a discount. Preferred payment for a meeting is by credit card via the FPASF.org website. If you need to pay by check, if must be received by FPASF (see Contact Information) by the cutoff date to receive the advanced pricing discount.

If paid at the day of the meeting, the advanced discount does not apply. Make sure that you mail your check in time to meet the cutoff date and receive the lower advanced pricing discount.

Returned checks and payments will be assessed $25.00 for handling.

FPASF does not accept responsibility for any credit charge dispute you may have with credit card vendors including VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER CARD, or PAYPAL. If there is a problem, contact the credit card company.

REFUND POLICY: Your meeting cost is reserved in advance with our vendors and FPASF incurs costs that are non-refundable three business days before the event. Therefore, payment is non-refundable three (3) business days in advance of the meeting date. Please contact our Executive Director if you feel you need to request a refund (see Contact Information).

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS: Where appropriate, each meeting topic and agenda are submitted by FPASF to the CFP Board of Standards for prior CE Credit approval for CFP certificants. CE approval is at the sole discretion of the CFP Board of Standards. FPASF does not warrant or guarantee that the indicated CE credit will in fact be awarded.

TRADEMARKS: The Financial Planning Association is the owner of trademark, service mark and collective membership mark rights in: FPA, FPA/Logo and FINANCIAL PLANNING ASSOCIATION. The marks may not be used without written permission from the Financial Planning Association.

CFP, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame logo) are certification marks owned by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
