FPA of San Francisco

After what is sure to be a great meeting and event this afternoon, we have another #FPASF event this week, a sponsored webinar (ONE CE CREDIT available):

Thursday, May 16, 2019
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Topic: Modeling Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (HECMs) in MoneyGuidePro®

Register here: events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?llr=bqlzdklab&oeidk=a07ega6mc6s41a0de81

Description:
Are all of your clients in the Confidence Zone? If not, join Mary-Alice Cárdenas - RMF for a special webinar when she will introduce how financial planners can add home equity to their older clients' risk-management strategy planning. During the webinar, Mary-Alice will include a MoneyGuidePro® demonstration featuring strategies for managing retirement goals and cash requirements while increasing your clients' probability of success - all while utilizing the FHA-insured* Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM), more commonly known as a reverse mortgage.

Attendees will learn how to use the "What If" worksheet to add reverse mortgage funds to a client's retirement plan, and how to reduce the amount of cash they hold in retirement cash reserves. There will also be a brief overview of the HECM program and the pros and cons of reverse mortgages, as well as a review of their four common uses in retirement planning.

Who should attend? Financial planners who are "open" to new ideas for improving their clients' probability of success, and who have older clients meeting any of the following criteria:

* Clients age 62+ with plans at-risk
* Clients age 62+ with no long-term care insurance
* Clients age 62+ still making mortgage payments
* Clients age 62+ planning on purchasing a new home with
traditional financing

Please Note: One CE credit will be provided for CFP, RICP, CLU and ChFC designations.

*This material has not been reviewed, approved or issued by HUD, FHA or any government agency. The company is not affiliated with or acting on behalf of or at the direction of HUD/FHA or any other government agency.
