Financial Planning as a profession is at a critical juncture. New laws, rules and regulations concerning our profession are being put into place across the country, with or without the input of Financial Planners.

While the Legislators’ intentions of protecting investors from predators may come from a good place, some of the proposals will have unintended consequences.

The Financial Planning Association of California asks you to step up and join our advocacy efforts to let legislators and regulators know FPA opinions on proposed legislation and our profession.

We are going to Sacramento on March 11, 2025. This is our 13th annual visit to “the Hill”. I urge you to join your fellow FPA members from around the state to meet with your elected representatives.

The 53rd annual FPA NorCal Conference will be held at the beautiful Palace Hotel in San Francisco on May 27 and 28, 2025.  

You are invited to a NexGen Reception hosted by the FPA NorCal Conference, directly following the Closing Keynote. It will be held on Wednesday, May 28th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Palace Hotel in the French Parlor, 2nd Floor.

Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served and we welcome all NexGen members to join us for one of the best networking events of the year! NexGen members that are not registered for the conference are still encouraged to attend the reception.
