The Financial Times recently issued a special report recognizing the Top 100 US Women Financial Advisors for 2014. We are proud to see the following FPA San Francisco members make the list:

A quick review of the methodology utilized in the selection process would tell you that this is an elite group of individuals. The initial list of 400 consisted of peer-submitted applicants with more than 10+ years of experience and greater than $200 million in assets under management (AUM). That list was then narrowed to focus on those with the best combination of AUM, AUM Growth Rate, Years of Experience, Compliance Record, Industry Certifications, and Online Accessibility.
One interesting myth that was dispelled by the study is that women financial advisors are primarily attracting women clients. In fact, women were only 44 percent of clients and 41 of the 100 advisors had more male clients than female.
